Call Coverage Services

Purpose

The Call Coverage Services form is used to provision the following features:

Call Coverage Service Number

A protected field that uniquely identifies the Call Coverage Service. The Call Coverage Service Number is programmed using the User and Services Configuration form or, for ring groups, the Ring Groups form.

 

Comment

Enter a label to help others easily identify the context of the Coverage Service Number. Maximum length is 26 alphanumeric characters.

Announcements

Recording 1: Delay to Start Time Minutes

Specifies in minutes when the recording starts relative to when the caller is queued to the requested group. Select the number of minutes (0 to 54). The maximum delay time is 54 minutes, 0 seconds.

Specifies in seconds when the recording starts relative to when the caller is queued to the requested group. Select the number of seconds (0 to 59). The maximum delay time is 54 minutes, 0 seconds.

Recording 1: Directory Number

Enter a 1- to 7-digit local directory number for the first Recorded Announcement Device (RAD). Valid digits are: 0-9, *, and #.

Recording 1: Dial Out of Queue List

Enter the required Dial Out Of Queue List Number as specified in the Dial Out of Queue Lists form that defines destination numbers to be dialed when the caller presses single digits on the set. The valid range of values is from 1 through 500.

Recording 1: Release Digit Receiver After Recording

Select Yes to release the digit receiver in use after the RAD finishes playing. If the receiver is not released (No is selected), the caller may dial out of the queue even after the RAD completes.

NOTE: This timer will not activate and Recording 2 will not be played if Recording 1 is not configured properly.

Repeat Last Recording Enabled

Select "Yes" if you want the last played recording to be repeated indefinitely (while the caller is queued) with the time interval specified in the Last Recording Repeat Interval fields.

Select a time in the range of 0 to 54 minutes. This field is mandatory if Yes is selected for the "Repeat Last Recording Enabled" field.

DTMF Receiver Unavailable Action

Specifies the desired behavior when dial out of a queue is programmed, but a DTMF Receiver cannot be seized to enable this functionality.

Choices are:

Play RAD: plays the RAD although the caller may be prompted with the option to dial out.

Skip: Don't play the RAD but leave the caller in the queue.

Divert: Divert the caller to the number programmed in the DTMF Receiver Unavailable Answer Point Directory Number field.

DTMF Receiver Unavailable Answer Point Directory Number

Enter a directory number to call if the DTMF Receiver Unavailable Action field is set to Divert. For numbers longer than 7 digits, program this field as a speed call. Blank

IVR

IVR Number

Enter the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Number (0 to 26 digits) for Hot Desk PIN Security. The IVR Number is the voice mail destination DN (or the PIN service endpoint) in MiCollab Nupoint UM for the Hot Desk PIN Security feature.

Choose "Yes" to enable Hot Desk PIN Security. Choose "No" to disable Hot Desk PIN Security.

Enter the voice mail destination directory number (0 to 26 digits) for the Direct Transfer to Voice Mail feature.

External Calls

Choose "Yes" to automatically forward external callers to the Post Call Destination directory number. Choose "No" to disable Post Call Destination for external calls.

Choose "Yes" to automatically forward internal callers to the Post Call Destination directory number. Choose "No" to disable Post Call Destination for internal calls.

Enter the Post Call Destination directory number.

Music on Hold

Audio Source

Select the audio source to use when a call is put on hold by the user or queues to the ring group or other destination.

Choices are Embedded and IP Endpoint.

Embedded Music Source

If the Audio Source is Embedded, select the index number of the audio file to use.

NOTE: You can select a vacant number (one which has no file assigned to it) but you must upload a file and assign it to the selected number before the source can be used. For more information, see System Audio Source Update.

If the Audio Source is IP Endpoint, enter the directory number of the port used to stream the audio.
